Another Suspected Case of Swine Flu Reported on Mainland
Summary:

After confirming the discovery of the mainland's first case of swine flu on Monday, China's Ministry of Health last night announced that another suspected case of A/H1N1 swine influenza has been discovered in the eastern province of Shandong.

The patient, who is currently receiving treatment in Jinan Hospital for Infectious Disease, is a 19-year-old Chinese student at a Canadian university. He arrived in Beijing on a May 8 flight from Canada.

The man, surnamed Lü, stayed in Beijing for 3 days from May 8 to 11. On the afternoon of May 11, he developed symptoms such as fever, a sore throat and a headache. He took the express train from Beijing to Jinan on the evening of May 11, and reported his symptoms to Jinan Municipal Center For Disease Control and Prevention while on the train.

Another report on the website of the Jinan Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention revealed that while in the capital, the man stayed at a branch of well-known hotel chain Home Inn in Beijing's Chaoyang District.
