1. China's CPI Up 5.5% in October

The National Bureau of Statistics announced earlier today that China's consumer price index (CPI) rose 5.5 percent year-on-year in October, lower than the pace of growth registered in September when the index rose by 6.1 percent compared to 12 months earlier. According to the NBS, the CPI rose 5.4 percent in urban areas and 5.9 percent in rural areas. The rate of year-on-year increase in food prices slowed to 11.9 percent in October, down from an increase of 13.4 percent in September, contributing 3.62 percentage points to the overall growth in the indicator. The producer price index (PPI), another measure of inflation at the wholesale level, rose 5.0 percent in October year-on-year, a marked drop in pace from the 6.5 percent increase that the NBS reported for September

2. NDRC: China Unicom and China Telecom Under Investigation

The National Development and Reform Commission have officially launched an anti-monopoly investigation into China's two fixed-line telecommunications companies - China Unicom and China Telecom, according to the "News 30 minutes" program that was aired at noon today on the CCTV News Channel. The investigation will focus on the charges that the two companies charge for internet service provision and will investigate whether the companies have abused their monopoly position in the market. It's possible that both companies could face up to billions of yuan in fines.

3. Chinese Airlines to Sue EU Over Emissions Plan

An official with the Air China said today that the airline would join four other major Chinese airlines to launch a law suit that will challenge the European Union's efforts to require global airlines to buy carbon emission permits for European flights as part of an expansion of the region's Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) that is set to take effect on Jan 1, 2012. The Deputy Secretary General of China Air Transport Association (CATA), had told Chinese media earlier in the week that CATA also plans to join the Chinese airlines in filing a lawsuit against the EU over the issue.

1、10月CPI同比上涨5.5% 5个月来首次降至6%以下

2011年10月份，全国居民消费价格总水平同比上涨5.5%，创5个月以来的新低，涨幅回落明显。自今年6月份以来，食品价格环比首次出现下降，环比下降0.2%，影响价格总水平下降约0.06个百分点。

2、中国首颗火星探测器“萤火一号”升空

北京时间9日4时16分在哈萨克斯坦境内的拜科努尔发射场，中国自主研发的首颗火星探测器“萤火一号”发射升空。探测器长、宽各约75厘米，高60厘米。两侧太阳帆板展开近8米，质量约115公斤，设计寿命2年。“萤火一号”将对火星进行为期一年的在轨探测，它将重点探测火星高层大气和电离层等空间环境。这不但对揭示火星演化史十分重要，而且还为中国下一步进行深空探测打下基础。

3、发改委正调查中国电信和中国联通涉嫌垄断

据央视报道，国家发改委正在调查中国电信和中国联通涉嫌宽带接入领域垄断问题，或事实成立，上述两家企业或遭数十亿元巨额罚单。

发改委负责人表示，中国电信和中国联通在宽带接入及网间结算领域存在垄断问题，两家公司在宽带接入领域收入分别为500亿和300亿元，如果事实成立，将对两家处以1%-10%的罚款。

4、央视广告投标创新高 12小时揽金142亿

8日，央视举行2012年度广告招标会，招标预售总额达到142亿元创18年新高。中央电视台广告招标预售历来被视为中国经济的“晴雨表”。今年排在招标版前三位的行业分别是食品饮料、金融、家电。增长较快的行业有IT、金融、医药保健、家居建材等。第一个竞拍项目“新闻联播后10秒标版”被中国银行摘得，中标价为7600万。茅台则连中4标，以4.43亿获得19：00报时组合。另外京东商城砸进2.3亿，首次参加就成为投标黑马。

5、准备好了吗?联通版iPhone4 8G周五上市

联通宣布从11月11日起，将在所有联通销售渠道发布8G版iPhone 4，裸机价格3999元，低于苹果官网4088元的报价。这次联通发售的裸机价格低于苹果官网售价89元，可能会引起市场上的购机热潮。目前iphone4货源紧张，联通销售渠道和其他社会渠道供应裸机的可能性不大。用户可以预存4999元话费选择0元购机套餐获得iPhone4 8G版。这两项促销政策将执行至今年年底。

6、高晓松出狱身价暴涨，达人秀否认

酒驾被拘服刑184天后，高晓松昨日凌晨刑满释放。释放当日上午高晓松就飞往美国为自己执导的电影《大武生》做宣传。网上有传言高晓松出狱后身价暴涨，已成为众多节目的邀请对象，对此经纪人没有回应，东方卫视《中国达人秀》节目宣传负责人则对此表示否认。对于出狱后高晓松身价不跌反涨，有网友表示高晓松入狱半年来，认错悔改有诚意，不管身价是涨是跌，都应支持。

7、伊朗核危机升级 中东局势再添乱

国际原子能机构昨日公布伊朗核项目报告，该报告指责伊朗涉嫌发展核武器。报告公布后，美国有意加大对伊朗的制裁力度，俄罗斯则表示该报告可能会损害外交斡旋的努力，此外媒体还猜测以色列可能打击伊朗核设施，但是以色列国防部长予以否认。伊朗谴责国际原子能机构的报告是“片面的”、“带有政治动机的”。这份报告的公布很可能加剧中东地区的紧张气氛。

8、意总理在议会中失去多数优势 愿有条件辞职

意大利总理贝卢斯科尼于8日晚证实他打算辞职。但是贝卢斯科尼也表示，在意大利议会为振兴经济通过一揽子改革措施之前，他不会离开。当天的意大利议院以308票赞成、1票弃权的结果通过了2010年度政府财政报告。但是他获得的赞成票距离议会半数还差8票，说明他在众议院已经失去优势地位。此前，意大利经济受到欧元区债务危机的严重影响，投资者担心意大利经济增长缓慢，加上大额债务，可能会成为下一个欧元区债务危机中的濒临破产者。
