Phoenix TV Online cited an unnamed source in a report that appeared on their website earlier today, claiming that China's official consumer price index (CPI) for March, which is due to be officially released by the bureau of statistics tomorrow morning, will be up by between 5.3 to 5.4 per cent year-on-year. In February, the growth rate was 4.9%. The article also claimed the China's broad money supply (M2) had increased by 16.6% in March, an increase on February's 15.7% rate of growth. The report also said the the producer price index or (PPI) would be up 7.4% year-on-year and that industrial value added had increased by 14.8% over the same period.
