National Energy Administration: No Residential Power Cuts

管理员

Liu Tienan, the deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and director general of the National Energy Administration (NEA), said that he would not permit residential power to be cut as problems with the supply and demand of coal, power, oil and gas emerge ahead of the impending summer energy peak. Mr. Liu said that the central government will focus on lifting effective supply and cutting back on non-essential demand in an effort to stave off the possibility of energy black outs caused by transport bottlenecks.
