Two High-Speed Railway Projects Halted by Ministry of Environment

管理员

The Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP) called a halt to construction of the Tianjin-Qinhuangdao high-speed railway line on May 12 after earlier suspendeding work on the Jinan-Qingdao project on April 25. The MEP ordered work to stop on both projects as environmental impact studies were not carried out on areas that would be effected by the project after the original planned route of both lines was altered.
