Amount Raised through Issuance of Corporate Bonds Increased in H1

According to data released by China’s central bank, in the first half of this year, Chinese companies raised a total of 658.8 billion yuan through the issue of corporate bonds, 9 billion more than during the same period last year. Corporate bonds accounted for 8.5 percent of total society-wide financing, up 0.5 percentage points from a year earlier.
