Pollution Causes Thousands of Fish to Die in Tianjin's Hai River

Yesterday, thousands of dead fish were found drifting on the surface of the Hai river in the vicinity of Tianjin's Tanggu Beach Park  (天津塘沽外滩公园). An employee from the local environmental supervision department explained that recent heavy rainfall had caused a lot of pollutants to flow into the river, killing the fish.
