Beijing Government Debt Reached 374.5 Billion Yuan at End of 2010

Yesterday, the Beijing Municipal government delivered a report on the city’s finances to the standing committee of the Beijing municipal people’s congress. Li Yingjin, the head of the Beijing Municipal Audit Bureau told delegates that as of the end of 2010, the total government debt held by both the city government and various districts and counties came to 374.5 billion yuan.
