Major Cooking Oil Producer Raises Retail Prices by 5%

Yihai Kerry (益海嘉里), parent company of Arowana (金龙鱼), confirmed that they have officially raised the prices of some of their cooking oil products by 5%, including their soybean oil, vegetable oil and blended oil products. The price of other oils remain unchanged. Last Nov, the National Development and Reform Commission requested cooking oil companies to not lift prices before end of Mar this year.
