Yield On Central Bank’s One-Year Bills Rises 9 Basis Points At Tuesday Auction

The central bank auctioned 5 billion yuan of one-year bills at its open market operations on Tuesday, at a yield of 3.584 percent, up 8.58 basis points from last week. Traders interpreted the higher yield on the bills as a sign that the bank is trying to drain liquidity from the market.
