China Broadens Iron Ore Imports, But 3/4 Still From Australia, Brazil India

Iron ore from Australia, Brazil and India accounted for 75% of China's imports of the raw material between January and June, down from 82% over the same period last year.

China accounted for four of every nine tons of steel produced in 2010. The country now imports ore from 53 countries, compared to 37 a year ago.
