Civil Case Against Huang Guangyu to Start being Heard on Sep 6

After being sentenced to 9 years prison and fined 600 million yuan on charges of insider trading, Huang Guangyu, former chairman of Gome Electrical Appliances - one of the largest privately-owned electrical appliance retailers in Mainland China - and once listed as the wealthiest man in China - is facing a civil suit that will begin hearings tomorrow.
