China's Fiscal Revenue Up by 30% in First 8 Months
Ministry of Finance data released on Sept 13 shows that the total nationwide fiscal revenue from Jan to Aug is 7.43 trillion yuan, an increase of 30.9% compared with the same period last year, of which central fiscal revenue was 3.8 trillion yuan, an increase of 27.5%. Local governments collected 3.6 trillion yuan in revenue during the first 8 months of this year, an increase of 34.7%.
