53% the global increase in demand for energy between 2008 and 2035 according to United States government projections

0.1 percentage points - the amount by which the International Monetary Fund reduced its forecast for Chinese GDP growth in 2011 

 The IMF now expects China's economy to expand by 9.5% this year, compared to its forecast of 9.6% in June. The Washington-based lender also cut its forecast for 2012 growth to 9% from 9.5%. 

The fund cited policy tightening and moderating external demand, but said that a stronger yuan should help to contain inflation and rebalance the economy.
