Crime-fighting Chongqing Official Moved to Economic Portfolio

Xinhua News Agency is reporting that according to the official Weibo account of the Information Office of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, in recent days, the city's party commission has decided to remove Wang Lijun (王立军) from his positions as director and party head of the city's Public Security Bureau, he will now serve as Deputy Mayor in charge of economic affairs. Mr Wang is known for is role in leading the recent campaign to crack-down on Chongqing\'s criminal gangs on the orders of the city's party boss Bo Xilai.
