House Prices Up 7.8% in December

The average price of housing in 70 big and middle-sized cities across China rose by 7.8% last month when compared with prices paid during the same period in 2008. However, if compared to the average price paid in November 2008, the prices have only gone up by 1.5% , according to statistics co-released by the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Bureau of Statistics.
