Two criminal gang leaders sentenced to death at trials associated with the ongoing corruption and organized crime crack down in the south west city of Chongqing, were executed on Tuesday. Yang Tianqing and Liu Chenghu were sentenced to death after being convicted of murder, racketeering, usury and additional charges, they were executed at the direction of Chongqing No.1 Intermediate People's Court. Court officials said that all the cases related to the organized crime blitz will be completed before Chinese New Year.
