Rio Tinto Employee Accused of Receiving Bribes from Former Owner of Rizhao Steel

Wang Yong, the former manager of Rio Tinto's Northern China Division, is accused of receiving bribes of nine million US dollars from Du Shuanghua, the former owner of Chinese steel giant Shandong Rizhao Steel Company, Rio Tinto case testimony provided by Du Shuanghua shows. Wang Yong denied the accusation and claims the nine million dollars were a loan, not a bribe.
