Early Sunday morning, a container ship sank carrying 100 tons of hydrochloric acid sank in the Yangtze river after being involved in an accident. The accident took place in Ezhou County, downstream from Wuhan, and officials from the Hubei Province Environmental Protection Office were sent to help local authorities manage the clean up.
