The Supreme People's Court and Supreme People's Procuratorate released a judicial interpretation that clarifies several criminal law articles concerning credit card fraud yesterday. The authorities described the crime of "malicious overdraft" as being a situation in which a card holder, for the purpose of unlawfully possesing overdrafted funds, has refused to repay the money he/she has overdrafted for three months.
