Fixed-asset Investment in Highway and Waterways Exceeds 1.1 Trillion Yuan in 2009

China has invested over 1.1 trillion yuan in highway and waterway construction during 2009, up 32% on the last year's figure, Li Zongqi, Chairman of the China Association of Communication Enterprise Management, revealed at the "Transportation and Logistics Development Forum of China 2009" yesterday.
