More Officials Implicated in CCTV Fire

According to the Chaoyang District People's Procuratorate of Beijing, five officials from the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-rural Development and Beijing Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision are being investigated on suspicion of dereliction of duty in regard to the fire that destroyed the TVCC center, located within the grounds of Beijing's new CCTV complex, early last year. A total of 23 people have already been detained in relation to the fire.
