Zhu Min Appointed as Special Adviser to IMF President

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has appointed Zhu Min as a special adviser to the intstitution's managing director Dominique Strauss- Kahn. Zhu has been serving as vice president of the People's Bank of China since October, 2009. China's Central Bank welcomed the move and noted that it was an important step to improve the administrative structure of the international financial institution.
