Shenzhen to Tackle Gang Crime This Year

Shenzhen police held a press conference yesterday to call on local gang criminals to surrender to the authorities within 30 days, as the local government has determined to take a tough position on tackling gang-related crimes this year. The police also announced the establishment of a 24-hour hot-line for citizens to make reports. This year, the Shenzhen police have already broken up seven gang groups and arrested 104 people.
