Southern China is predicted to be hit by another rainstorm in ten days time, pushing the average amount of precipitation in southern China up to 50% of the average level of previous years, according to the National Meteorological Center. The center also warns local governments to intensify safeguarding methods against possible effects of the storm storm including floods, landslides, debris flow, thunder, lighting, strong wind and ice storms.
