Chen Deming, the Minister of Commerce, said China will gradually allow qualified foreign-invested enterprises to be listed on China's stock markets and will also reduce the limitation on the amount of equity that foreign investors can have in domestically listed companies. The announcement follows last week's decision to increase the limit on the amount that Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors (QFII) can invest in local equity markets.
