E-Commerce in China Enters Era of Real-name Registration

Provisional regulations issued by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC) that regulate E-commerce in China will take effect from July 1st. This means online retailers are required to register with their real name and address on online trading platforms from today. The SAIC plans to launch a nationwide inspection to make sure that online business operators are registering with their real names.
