An unidentified source told a reporter from China Business News 《第一财经日报》that revisions to the existing property tax law are likely to be released around the time of the National Day holiday that begins on October 1. The source is also quoted as saying that any changes are likely to come in to effect at the start of next year, but the report also acknowledges that many players in the real estate sector have not heard any news of any imminent announcement of policy changes.
