57,000 Workers Diagnosed with Pneumoconiosis in China Every Year

A survey carried out by China's Coal Mine Safety Supervision Bureau, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and the China Occupational Safety and Health Association, found that 57,000 Chinese workers are diagnosed with pneumoconiosis, a serious lung condition, every year. It's also estimated that 6,000 workers die from the condition every year.
