Central Government to Spend Two Thirds of Total Budget on Quality of Life Improvements

The central government is planning to spend two thirds of their 10 trillion yuan budget on fields such as education, health, social security, and employment. This represents an increase of about 18.1 percent compared to last year, according to the budget report submitted to the National People’s Congress.
