- An expert from China's State-owned Assets regulator yesterday revealed that the annual salary for top managers in centrally-owned enterprises ranged from 200,000 yuan (nearly 30,000 US dollars) to 800,000 yuan (nearly 120,000 US dollars) per year. The average annual salary was around 400,000 yuan (59,000 US dollars).
