Travelers to take 2.8 Billion Train Journeys During the Spring Festival

The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has predicted in a notice that travelers will take 2.8 billion train journeys during the coming Spring festival period, up 11.6% on the level of last year. The NDRC has required local governments and related departments to establish an emergency mechanism to prevent and reduce uncertainties during the travel spree.
