Illegal Fund Raising of Over 200,000 Yuan Eligible for Criminal Prosecution

According to a new interpretation released by the Supreme People's Court, individuals who illegally collect public deposits totaling over 200,000 yuan will be subject to criminal prosecution. From 2005 to June, 2010, over 10,000 cases of illegal fund-raising occurred in China.
