Wang Yi, former vice president of China Development Bank (CDB) has been charged by prosecutors and will face a Beijing court soon. China's Ministry of Land and Resources yesterday published statistics revealing that the revenue that local governments raised from land transfers in 2009 came to 1.59 trillion yuan, an increase of 63.4% on last year's figure.
