The National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) and the National Aquatics Center (Water Cube) boasted revenues of 550 million Yuan and 150 million Yuan, respectively, after the Olympic Games in 2008, said Li Aiqing, board chairman of Beijing State-owned Asset Operation Company. He went on to state that 70% of the revenue came from tickets sales.
