According to the State–owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), the evacuation is the biggest overseas withdraw of COE employees in history. According to unnamed military sources, the People's Liberation Army (PLA) plans to increase the pay levels for the third time in six years. According to the report, the increase will be calculated from the second half of last year, and salaries will increase by between 5 and 40%, depending on rank according to the principle of the lower the rank, the greater the increase.
