Detention Center Death Attributed to "Drinking Hot Water"
A man named Wang Yahui was detained by local police in Henan's Lushan county on suspicion of burglary on February 18 this year. However, three days after he was taken away by the police, Wang died in a local detention center. Local police explained that his death had been caused by drinking hot water. At present, the local procuratorate has intervened in the investigation into the case.

One Killed, 31 Trapped in North China Coal Mine Accident
One worker was killed and 31 others were trapped after an accident at a coal mine in northern China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region flooded the mine early on Monday, according to the local coal mine safety administration. The relatively mine was built and run by the Shenhua Group, the country's largest coal supplier, and aims to extract 1.5 million tons of coal a year.
